What's included in the 12-Week Ashtanga Journey

1. Weekly Progressive Ashtanga Class (Live, 1x per week) See more

Each week we build on the previous one — no jumping ahead, no confusion. You'll learn the Ashtanga Primary Series step by step, in a structured sequence designed so your body adapts safely and your practice actually sticks. Every class is recorded so you can revisit it anytime during the week.
By week 12, you'll have a complete practice you can do on your own.

2. Philosophy & Breathwork Module

Ashtanga is not just poses — it's a system. Each week includes a short philosophy segment where we explore the foundations of the practice: the eight limbs, the role of breath (Ujjayi pranayama), drishti, bandhas, and what it actually means to practice with intention. You'll understand why you're doing what you're doing — and that changes everything.

3. Weekly Psychological Space — Journaling Practice

This is where the inner work happens.Every week you'll receive a guided journaling prompt designed to help you connect movement with emotion — exploring what comes up in your body, your patterns, your resistance, and your growth.This isn't therapy. It's a structured space to turn awareness into real change.
Rooted in humanistic psychology,  contextual therapy and mindfulness principles.
 

4. Posture & Technique Review

Each week we break down the key poses with a focus on safe alignment and injury prevention.You'll learn the most common mistakes (and how to fix them), how to work with your body's limits without forcing, and how to use modifications that actually support your practice — not just "easier versions."
Because practicing with awareness is always more powerful than practicing harder.

5. Weekly Companion Support (between classes)

This is what makes the difference between a course and a real transformation:
  • Mini challenges — small, doable actions to keep your body moving between classes
  • Theory summaries — a written recap of everything covered in class, so nothing gets lost
  • Q&A space — ask questions about the class, the concepts, or your practice and get a real answer
  • Short practice videos — targeted video exercises to build consistency, work specific areas of the body, or reinforce what you learned in class. 
You're not on your own between Sundays. The practice lives in the week.
